Our Story

I’ve always had a thing for bags. Growing up, I was the girl who couldn’t leave the house without stuffing everything into one, from my notebooks to random things. But it wasn’t just any bag—it had to be THE bag. Something cute but practical, that could survive the chaos of my life. I guess that’s where the seed for The Tote Library was planted.

Fast forward to 2022. I was deep into my graphic design studies, and Patrik—my partner and now co-founder—was trying to make his basketball dream happen. One day, he surprised me with a tote, and while I loved it, it didn’t quite work for my everyday life. That’s when Patrik had an idea: Why not create a tote that blends style and function?

From that moment, The Tote Library started to take shape. We had no big budget, just $300, a lot of late-night brainstorming sessions, and a shared vision. We poured our hearts into the design and put everything into building something meaningful—not just a brand, but a community.

The Tote Library is our safe space, and we hope it becomes yours too. We want you to feel like you’re stepping into our world when you carry one of our bags or join us on socials—a world full of creativity, support, and totes that make life just a little bit easier (and a lot more stylish).
